Disparity in steel prices may boost imports.

Mumbai, March 27, 2012: The recent hike in steel prices has led to domestic rates overtaking import rates. The disparity of $40 a tonne (Rs 2,000 a tonne) is set to revive imports, which were lagging due to volatile currency exchange rates, according to dealers.

Robust Attendance at GIE+EXPO and Hardscape North America 

(Louisville, KY) Managers of the 2011 GIE+EXPO (Green Industry & Equipment Expo) and Hardscape North America (HNA), which were co-located in Louisville October 27-29, reported that total participation at the event was about 17,900.
